VTone
VTone is a non-surgical, FDA-cleared technology used to support rehabilitation of pelvic floor muscle function.
VTone is delivered using the Empower RF platform by InMode. A small anatomically designed intravaginal applicator delivers electrical muscle stimulation (EMS), resulting in involuntary pelvic floor muscle contractions.
What is VTone used for?
VTone is offered to women who are experiencing symptoms such as:
Pelvic floor muscle weakness
Mild pelvic organ support changes
Urinary leakage or urgency symptoms
Changes in pelvic floor function following childbirth or hormonal changes
It is used as part of a broader approach to pelvic floor rehabilitation, where clinically appropriate.
Consultation – VTone
Your consultation with Dr Jess Tucker is a medical assessment focused on understanding your symptoms, medical history, and treatment goals.
You will receive a balanced discussion of:
Whether VTone may be appropriate for you
Expected variability in individual response
Risks, limitations, and uncertainties
Alternative treatment options where relevant
All care is individualised.
Procedure overview
VTone uses intravaginal electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) delivered via a single-use applicator.
The applicator is gently inserted into the vaginal canal
Electrical stimulation induces involuntary pelvic floor muscle contractions
The treatment is generally well tolerated and does not require anaesthetic
Treatment time
Each session typically lasts approximately 30 minutes.
Recovery
VTone requires no downtime.
Most patients resume normal daily activities immediately after treatment.
You may experience temporary mild muscle fatigue or awareness in the pelvic floor region.
Outcomes and expectations
VTone is used to support pelvic floor muscle re-education and strength over time.
Some patients report changes in bladder control, pelvic floor awareness, or sexual comfort in the weeks following treatment. However, responses vary between individuals, and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Improvements, where they occur, are typically gradual and associated with a course of treatments.
Treatment course
While some individuals may notice changes after a single session, a series of treatments is typically recommended.
Usually 6 sessions
Scheduled weekly
Maintenance may be considered depending on individual response
Pelvic floor exercises (such as Kegel exercises) may also be recommended as part of a broader pelvic health plan where appropriate.
Clinical positioning
VTone is not presented as a standalone treatment or cure for pelvic floor disorders.
It is offered selectively following consultation as part of a broader pelvic health management approach. Alternative options will be discussed where appropriate.
The V Clinic approach
Private, doctor-led consultations
Evidence-informed clinical decision-making
Individualised treatment planning
Emphasis on safety, discretion, and comfort
Combination treatments
VTone may be combined with FormaV, Morpheus8V, or V-PRP Intimate Health Therapy where clinically appropriate.
Suitability is determined during consultation.
