Morpheus8V
Morpheus8V is a minimally invasive, non-surgical treatment that uses sub-dermal radiofrequency (RF) microneedling technology to deliver controlled energy into vaginal and vulvovaginal tissues.
This process creates controlled micro-injury and thermal stimulation, which is used to support collagen and elastin remodelling within treated tissue.
Morpheus8V is delivered using the Empower RF platform by InMode.
What is Morpheus8V used for?
Morpheus8V is offered to women who are experiencing concerns such as:
Vaginal dryness or discomfort
Pain during intercourse (dyspareunia)
Mild urinary symptoms such as stress incontinence
Changes in tissue laxity following childbirth or hormonal changes
It may also be considered where changes in vulvar tissue appearance are a concern. This is discussed carefully during consultation to ensure appropriateness and realistic expectations.
How it works
Morpheus8V combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy.
Microneedles create controlled microchannels in tissue
Radiofrequency energy is delivered into deeper layers
This process is used to stimulate collagen and elastin remodelling responses over time
This is a controlled medical procedure and does not rely on surgical techniques.
Goals of treatment
Morpheus8V may be considered to support:
Vaginal dryness and discomfort
Sexual comfort and sensation
Mild urinary symptoms
Changes in tissue laxity
In some cases, it may also be used in relation to external vulvar tissue texture or appearance, depending on clinical suitability.
Consultation – Morpheus8V
Your consultation with Dr Jess Tucker is a medical assessment focused on your symptoms, medical history, and treatment goals.
You will receive a balanced discussion of:
Whether this treatment may be appropriate for you
Expected variability in individual response
Risks, limitations, and uncertainties
Alternative treatment options where relevant
All care is individualised.
Procedure overview
A topical numbing cream is applied for comfort
A specialised device delivers microneedling and radiofrequency energy into targeted tissue
Treatment is applied internally and externally depending on clinical indication
The procedure is generally well tolerated.
Treatment time
Each session typically lasts 30–60 minutes.
Recovery
Mild post-treatment effects such as redness, swelling, or tenderness may occur and typically resolve over several days.
Most patients can resume normal daily activities shortly after treatment. Timing for resuming sexual activity is discussed individually based on treatment intensity.
Outcomes and expectations
Morpheus8V is used to support collagen and elastin remodelling responses within treated tissue over time.
Some patients report changes in symptoms such as comfort, sensitivity, or tissue tightness in the weeks to months following treatment. However, responses vary between individuals and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Improvements, where they occur, are typically gradual and associated with a course of treatments.
Treatment course
While some individuals may notice changes after a single session, a course of treatments is often recommended.
Typically 2–3 sessions
Spaced approximately 4–6 weeks apart
Maintenance treatments may be considered depending on individual response
Clinical positioning
Morpheus8V is not presented as a first-line treatment for sexual dysfunction or urinary symptoms.
It is offered selectively following consultation as part of a broader treatment approach. Alternative options will be discussed where appropriate.
The V Clinic approach
